Family Maker Day
Rotherham Creates: family maker day at Riverside House!
Come along to Riverside House and get stuck in making and creating! We'll have lots of things to do including cardboard creations, Lego, painting, drill art, plus more!
What is Rotherham Creates?
Throughout October, we invited local schools, community groups, and the public to take part in workshops led by local artists. They involved lots of different materials and techniques and focused on the themes of community, sustainability, togetherness, and well being.
Over the course of 2 weeks we're holding an exhibition at Riverside House to showcase all of the amazing creativity that the people of Rotherham have.
While visiting the exhibition, members of the public can have a go at using equipment and materials in the makerspace, participate in an artist-led workshop and ask about being an artist.
Who's it for?
Free to attend and is suitable for all ages.
