As part of Rotherham Creates, a collaborative project across Rotherham libraries, we are hosting some workshops at a library near you.
Get stuck in and create something with the guidance of the artist using interesting materials and techniques.
This workshop will involve experimenting with polymer clay. In this creative workshop you will be thinking about What Makes You Happy and then creating a 2D Polymer Clay figure of yourself along with something that makes you happy in your local community... it could be a favourite pet, some food, or a hobby... absolutely anything, it's your happiness!! You will also make something that will contribute to a community piece of art, that will be displayed in the library or at the local school. This may be some flowers, leaves or bugs.
The workshop is followed by a celebration event so you can mingle with the artist, look at all the different things that were made and stay for PIZZA!
During November, your creations will be part of a final exhibition at Riverside House which will be open to the public.
This workshop is suitable for all ages.
