We're offering exciting work experience opportunities for 14-16 year olds in Barnsley. No previous experience needed!
Sign up to get experience working at an exciting artist run project at the Carers' Garden behind the Metrodome. You’ll learn how to design and build a project based on the what the community wants.
The project will run from the 12th January to the 5th April 2024. You don’t need you to commit to the entire duration of the project, you can offer as much or as little time as you are able to.
Over 12 weeks, you'll work with skilled trades people, an artist and community members to design and build a wooden structure that will be used by hundreds of people living in Barnsley for years to come. With a team of young people, you'll decide what you would like to build and the details of the design. Previous groups have built a shed, pizza oven and outdoor kitchen on allotments.
