Join us over 4 weeks to build a Sensory Play Area for Barnsley community.

We’ll provide all the tools, materials, safety equipment and expertise to help you learn DIY.

The Carers Garden is a place for everyone to enjoy and we want to give you the space to be able to be creative however you wish to be! Open gardening can include (but isn't limited to) planting seeds, trimming bushes, tidying areas, cutting grass, and other things that might need our attention on the day.

You will be outdoors for most of the day, please make sure you dress accordingly. If it's hot and sunny, make sure you wear sunscreen and have a hat...alternatively if its cold/rainy please wrap up warm! In both instances please wear closed toe shoes, boots are more suitable but trainers are also okay.

Life is busy and sometimes unpredictable so we understand you may not be able to make every week. We hope you'll make every effort to make most weeks. Please let us know which weeks you will attend by visiting the course schedule here and RSVPing for each week.
