SUMMARY:Girls with Drills - Build a Raised Planter
DESCRIPTION:Join us to build a DIY raised planter for the Carers' Community Garden. This will be a space to relax\, share stories and appreciate nature. You don't need any previous experience\, as our female tutors will show you how you use the equipment\, make plans\, and build a planter. \nWe’ll provide all the tools\, materials\, safety equipment and expertise to help you learn DIY. \nThere will also be the opportunity to do some open gardening\, the Carers Garden is a place for everyone to enjoy and we want to give you the space to be able to be creative however you wish to be! Open gardening can include (but isn't limited to) planting seeds\, trimming bushes\, tidying areas\, cutting grass\, and other things that might need our attention on the day. \nYou will be outdoors for most of the day\, please make sure you dress accordingly. If it's hot and sunny\, make sure you wear sunscreen and have a hat...alternatively if its cold/rainy please wrap up warm! In both instances please wear closed toe shoes\, boots are more suitable but trainers are also okay. \n\nWho's it for?\nAdults aged 18+ \nWhen?\nTuesday 24th September\n16:00pm - 19.00PM \nThis is free.
