SUMMARY:Riverside House Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:An exhibition of everything that was created during Rotherham Creates in the library makerspaces!\nThroughout October\, we invited local schools\, community groups\, and the public to take part in workshops led by local artists. They involved lots of different materials and techniques and focused on the themes of community\, sustainability\, togetherness\, and well being. \nOver the course of 2 weeks we're holding an exhibition at Riverside Houseto showcase all of the amazing creativity that the people of Rotherham have. \nWhile visiting the exhibition\, members of the public can have a go at using equipment and materials in the makerspace\, participate in an artist-led workshop and ask about being an artist.  \nWho's it for?\nThe exhibition is free to attend and is suitable for all ages. \nWhen?\n18th November - 30th November \nTuesday - 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM\nWednesday - 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM\nThursday - 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM\nFriday - 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM\nSaturday - 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM \nDrop in at any time! No previous experience needed! \n\nSign up to get experience working at an exciting artist run project at Riverside Library. You’ll be on hand to welcome guests\, assist the artist\, answer queries\, and provide general support. \n\nThe project will run from the 18th November to the 1st December. DESCRIPTION:Design and make a 3D model of an outdoor structure using tools\, wood\, and metal.\nJoin in the fun of Rotherham Creates and join in with this exciting workshop run by a talented local artist. \nThis workshop is all about designing an outdoor pavilion. The design process will be rapid prototyping in 3D. This means will be working with a mix of tools and materials including timber\, aluminium\, nails\, hammers\, scissors and a pillar drill to create your 3D model of the structure! \nWhat is Rotherham Creates?\nThroughout October\, we invited local schools\, community groups\, and the public to take part in workshops led by local artists. They involved lots of different materials and techniques and focused on the themes of community\, sustainability\, togetherness\, and well being. \nOver the course of 2 weeks we're holding an exhibition at Riverside House to showcase all of the amazing creativity that the people of Rotherham have. \nWe're also giving you the opportunity to participate in an artist-led workshop.
