DESCRIPTION:An exhibition and celebration of everything that was created during Rotherham Creates in Greasbrough library makerspace!\nThroughout October\, we invited local schools\, community groups\, and the public to take part in workshops led by local artists. They involved lots of different materials and techniques and focused on the themes of community\, sustainability\, togetherness\, and well being. \nJoin us at the celebration event at Greasbrough library to see everything that was created\, and talk to the artist about their process. \nThey'll be food and drinks\, including everybody's favourite\, PIZZA! \nWho's it for?\nFree to attend and is suitable for all ages. \nWhen?\n26th October 5.00pm - 7.00pm \nDrop in at any time! SUMMARY:Wet Felting & Batik Workshop at Greasbrough Library
DESCRIPTION:Artist led workshops during October half term!\n\nAs part of Rotherham Creates\, a collaborative project across Rotherham libraries\, we are hosting some workshops at a library near you. \nGet stuck in and create something with the guidance of the artist using interesting materials and techniques. \nThis workshop involves wet felting and batik textile art. There will be lots of colour to use and opportunities to create and bring your own ideas and interpretations to life using a varied range of resources \nThe workshop is followed by a celebration event so you can mingle with the artist\, look at all the different things that were made and stay for PIZZA! \nDuring November\, your creations will be part of a final exhibition at Riverside House which will be open to the public. \nWho's it for?\nThis workshop is suitable for all ages. \nWhen?\nThursday 26th October - 2pm-3pm or 3.30pm-4.30pm.
