This summer we are delivering holiday club workshops for young people between the ages of 11 and 16. The workshops will be hands on, creative and will inspire new ways of thinking about the world.
These workshops will cover two different topics: food and fashion
The sessions will be run by our Makers-in-Residence, who have also designed the activities you'll be taking part in! The workshops are jam packed with exciting and practical skills - you'll definitely learn something new.
Learn new skills and create your own augmented world, thinking about sustainable farming and food growing practices. Let your mind run wild! Part of the day will be spent outdoors so remember to bring a hat (and a coat just in case).
Have a go at designing your own clothes while learning about sustainable and eco-friendly design methods and 'how to' personalise your own garments. Part of the day will be spent outdoors so remember to bring a hat (and a coat just in case).
Learn some of the following skills:
Coding in an augmented reality
Growing food at home
Weaving
Embroidery
Repurposing
Keeping active
Summer camps!
